Hey everyone!

Ive wanted to collect Chaos for a long time and thought why not start now!
so as my club mainly plays 2k games, ive made a 2000pt army
Here it is

HQ:
Daemon prince with mark of Slaanesh, lash of submission, wings
= 155
Daemon prince with mark of Slaanesh, lash of submission, wings
= 155
Total = 410

Troops:
7 Plague marines with 2 plasma-guns, Rhino with havoc-launcher
= 241

= 241
9 Khorne berserkers with Champion with power-fist, Rhino with dozer-blade
= 269
9 Khorne berserkers with Champion with power-fist, Rhino
= 264
Total = 1015

Heavy Support:
3 Obliterators
= 225
3 Obliterators
= 225
3 Obliterators
= 225
Total = 675

= 2000pts

couple of Q's as i know all of shit about Chaos. Is lash of submission a good tactic? on paper coupled with the Obliterators using plasma-cannon lashing a squad together (and maybe out of cover) the barraging them plasma blasts. another question is my Bezerker set-up correct? i like using fists in my normal marine army so thought s9 ones was even better! the Bezerkers are there to clear objectives and assault the assaulty stuff :eek:k:

any advice or possible changes would be GREAT!:cool:

in all truth i would ditch the princes and a unit of oblits. heres why.

the princes are cool but a pair of lash sorcerers runs you much much cheaper and can be hidden in a unit, in a rhino, and still lash out adding an extra layer or two of protection ensuring they'll get to do their jobs.

the oblits i would drop for a few reasons, A. i would get a vindicator or defiler in their place, theres nothing scarier then an instant killing large blast that hits the WHOLE unit after a lash. B. left over points would buy power fists for the plaue marines and bodies where applicable.

I agree using lash sorcerors might be good, but the oblits have a plasma cannon, which is large blast! Keep the oblits!:eek:k:

...a plasma cannon is a small blast man, always has been.... same as the one used for a missle launchers frag missle or a havoc launcher.
sorry, was a wee bit hung over this morning when I posted that!:alcoholic::laugh:

Hey thanks

im worried about adding a defiler/vindicator because i already have very few vehicles so all my opponent has to do is shoot it with a couple of missiles and its bye bye defiler, is this a problem or am i just being precious?

i thought i could use some princes for anti armour as well as lash duty (5+2d6 is quite good on rear armour)

Why put powerfists on the plage marines? i was thinking of keeping them in their transport, i could see it working when their Rhino was destroyed but its a lot of points for a squad i want to shoot with.

ill try making a new list today and post it up :)
Oh thanks for all the replies so far!
