[Khorne Aggression]

Hey guys here are 2 lists I'm gonna try against my HE opponent tomorrow. Any input would be great! On a side note, I have no idea what he's taking.

List 1
Chaos Sorcerer Lvl 2 180pts
-The Black Tongue
-Mark of Tzeentch

14 Warriors w/ Full Command 274
-Shields
-Mark of Tzeentch

14 Warriors w/ Music + Banner 262
-Shields
-Mark of Tzeentch

5 Chaos Knights w/ Full Command 280pts
-Mark of Nurgle

Total: 996

Edit: Chaos Knights had MoTzeentch to go with the army theme but being that they'll be going after any potential bolt throwers I figured Nurgle would be better.

I'd prefer the second list, myself. Sit at the back casting any of the good Tzeentch spells and raining fire down with the Hellcannon (targeting his ranged units first). Eventually he'll have to walk forwards and hit your warriors, at which point you should win through superior infantry.

Pretty much. Though I think that a Hellcannon at 1000 pts might be a little overkill.

Yeah IMO a hellcannon at 1k reeks of parmisan, but its your list, and the second will deffinatly stomp him, barring some almost impossible form of swordmaster spam. or Mage spam. But you should win.

I have to agree with everyone else, the first list would be more fun to play against from an opponent's perspective, but the second list is by far the better one I feel. However a canny opponent could take the Hellcannon out of the game using fast cavalry (send it on a wild goose chase around the board).

A hellcannon in 1K is very wrong, but overkill is underrated :biggrin:
