1850 minus a few points. Basically the army is in your face turn uno. All the scout squads with the fists and bombs infiltrate 18 away worst case scenario from a vehicle preferably. 6 inch scout move, 6 inc move, fleet from shrike and assault turn 1. The combi flamers are on in infantry scenarios. Assault termies infiltrate with shrike and do the same against the enemies heaviest unit. Sicarius can chill with the sternguard in the pod. Well what do you guys think for a fun list?:grin:

Sorry but the points are wrong on the scouts. I put in values before beefing up the squads but forgot to change the numbers. The list is 1850 though.

It sounds pretty fun and cool to play. You might be lacking in ranged fire support and anti-tank

i think it looks fun. risky, but i like that. i think to many risks for competitions.

i might drop the shrike/termie pts and add in 2 auto las preds and 3 mm/hf speeders.


oh yea, if your doing ultra scouts then i'd think telion would be in the mix.

Looks fun, but I don't think Sicarius + Tac Squad (400 points) is worth it to give Tacs the ability to infiltrate. I'd just put those guys in a pod and buy more scouts...

On the whole, I'm not wild about scouts... they're not much more than Vet Gaurdsmen... but I think the list would be fun to play against...

i don't. i think for his points or less you can get much better HQ's for SM.

now, if you could buff ANY squad, it might be worth it, but expensive (like infiltrated MM, for the win, right?)

i wouldn't take Sicarius on this list. i would certainly go with BP/CCW on the Scouts, and though it will seem weird, give every Scout a camo cloak. i mean you have a great idea, but what if you go second and get shot to pieces?

Suprise Attack - Re-roll for sieze initative isn't all that good
Rites of Battle - is cool, but Marines don't run all that often.
Battle Forged Heros - Only for a Tac Sqaud... but cool...

If your intent is to have a kick ass CC Captain, then he's your man.

But, while Cato does some very cool stuff and his stat line is certainly impressive, I just can't justify the extra points in most lists - unless I'm running him just for fun... but normally, I just stick with a basic Libby and leave the CC oriented lists to Spacewolves and Blood Angels.
