I think you would be better off with a master of the forge and conversion beamer. If he gets an assault special in your ranks you are going to get eat'n alive. even with a gun line you still need a manuver element. If he has bigger guns and digs in you are going to get hammered. Look at dropping a tac squad and getting a bike squad or a speeder squad.
