okay sooooooo ive completly slacked at making my list soooooo i need some help its a 1750 i pretty much wanna run a super elite assault kinda oriented list soooo here goes

ive got all the listed above models and i also have :

5 sniper scouts

tellion

landspeeder storm

a captain

command sqd

10 terminators

vindicator

5 man assault sqd

2 more full tactical squads

and 3 rinos

a dreadnought

and a whirlwind

please feal free to go all out , i know this list has massive holes in it thats why i posted it on here cuz i need to fix it and run to get the car 4 hours away at the same time

vanguard and pred are point sinks, regular assualt squads are more points efficient, also run the pred as auto cannon and las sponsons its cheaper i think. also i'd probably drop the scouts and go with more tac marines

IMHO, this army is far from being a super elite assault orient list. If you want to play an assault oriented list then I would suggest doing blood angels. That being said, you obviously don't have time to build a blood angels list so I would suggest some serious re-working of your list to play on the strengths that you have.

It seems that your focus is on all of the cool special character models but most aren't useful enough for a tournament setting and just way too many to see in one place. 1/3 of your army is devoted to just 6 HQ models. Magnus and crew just aren't worth the points especially if he's not in a transport. You'll spend most of your time foot-slogging across the field and getting chewed up before you even get to take a swing.

You are seriously lacking mobility for your troops to get them across the field. Do you have any dedicated transport for your models? Getting your troops across the field is a must!

With the figures you listed, here is one idea for a tournament list:

HQ:
Tigurious - 230 pts

Elite:
5-man terminator squad - 200 pts

Troops:
10-man Tactical Squad (PG/PC) - 185 pts
10-man Tactical Squad (Flamer/ML) - 170 pts
10-man Scout Squad (HB/cloaks) - 180 pts
5-man Sniper Squad with Tellion (cloaks & ML) - 150 pts

Fast Attack:
Land Speeder (MM/MM) - 80 pts
Land Speeder Storm (HF) - 60 pts
5-man Assault Squad (PW for Sgt) - 115 pts

Heavy Support: (380 pts)
Vindi - 115 pts
Thunderfire Cannon - 100 pts
Predator (TL-LC/LC sponsons) - 165 pts

Total: 1750

This gives you Tigurious with termie escort to deep strike and gate around the table when needed. Your Vindi to hammer straight down the middle with land speeder to lend anti-tank support on the flank. The TC and Pred in the backfield to lend firepower. The land speeder storm can move scouts to grab objectives at the last minute. If you do have rhinos and such then I would drop your assault squad and give your tactical squad some transports.

if you really want to win the tourney i think you need a lot more models to better define your overall space marine force. it seems to me your spread way out, one thing here, one thing there..

if you have the time, regularly check the builds being posted here. you gradually gather the general of what works and what won't work as well. As dood said, a mad assaulty marine army would definitely be blood angels, or as i gather, black templars. codex space marines are best at shooting while maintaining solid formations.

maybe.. get some razorbacks, more preds, or more dreads or other focused leet aspect.

you could run your 10 terminators. put a couple cyclone missile launchers for some long range shots while making your way in.
