This is a list for an upcoming tournament. Wondering am I a bit heavy on terms points wise. Dozer blades are there cuz I always roll 1s and Telion is for wound allocation.
Helpful comments appreciated.

while i like the list, i'm afriad of there not being enough initial fire power. everthing melta has to be in range. personally i prefer a dreadnought coming out of the drop pod, but the stenguard can work. Have you run this list before?

I havn't run this list. I have everything except the sternguard and assault terms (using shooty terms as proxies). I have 3 dreads but dropping 1 could leave him isolated. Sternguard with combis still leave them shooty.
I feel I need 3 troops and the dozerblades (just ask Pug!!).

remove dozer blades, drop 1-2 termys, i would replace the chaplain w/ a librarian, drop the bike, perhaps another tac squad, but i would like to see more preds for armour satuation, or more mm landspeeders, for deepstriking tank busters...

I use a similar tactic with Stern-guard, but i take a full squad, 10 models and mix in combi flamers. After jumping out of the DP i combat squad and use one team to crack a vehicle, usually a land raider, and the other to flame the hapless victims of the vehicular explosion to death.

Its expensive but if you pop a Land Raider they pay for themselves and take the focus off the rest of you army and onto the squad that just pop'd there land raider.

If you fell like they must live after doing this a libbi with force dome, or gate can get them out alive, and add avenger to the flamers unit.

But fear the scatter dice... they can ruin this plan fast.

1740 points. Still have 10 to play with. Can't change too much as I won't have time to get and paint the models before the show.
As it is I need to get another pred, sternguard and assault terms plus all the special weapons.

i prefer to outfit tac squads with the bare minimum, because i don't plan for them to do much other than claim/contest objectives, and lock other troops or even elites in CC regardless of if they are over matched.

If you got rid of both tac squads meltas, pf, and combiflamers, as well as the attack bike, you'd have 130 + 10 freed up. AND if you took the dozer blades off from your rhinos, another 10 i think, you could probably make a tllc and las sponson predator fit. although i am usually wanting extra armor on my mobile transports to better ensure that they move every turn and that doesn't let me run the expensive predator.

Slight modification. Does this hurt the list much. I don't think so and it would help me out for getting the models ready in time.

If I can still count this comes to 1742. I think a single attack bike and a single landspeeder probably won't last long but if I use them as suicide meltas they may do the trick. I can always alter further at a later stage but running out of time for this tourny to screw about much more.
