Hey guys! I'm back with my next list that I'm going to try out this week.

First, thanks for all the positive input! So far I've won 3 out of 4 games that I've played over the last few weeks. This is my idea for a list I'm considering using for a tournament next weekend.

1750 Ork Horde Detachment

HQs
Big Mek - KFF, BP, Warbike
Painboy - Warbike
Warboss (Warlord) - BP, Da Lucky Stikk, Mega Armor, Warbike

Elites
12 x Tankbustas with 2 x Bomb Squig and Trukk with Rokkit Launcha, Reinforced Ram

Troops
19 x boyz with shootas 2 with Rokkit Launchas & 1 x Boss Nob with PK, BP
19 x boyz with shootas 2 with Rokkit Launchas & 1 x Boss Nob with PK, BP
11 x boyz with sluggas , 'Eavy Armor & Boss Nob with PK, BP and Trukk with Rokkit Launcha, Reinforced Ram

Fast
Dakkajet - Flyboss, 3 x Twin-linked Supa Shoota
3 x Deffkoptas all with TL Rokkit Launcha
8 x Warbikers & 1 x Warbiker Nob with PK

Heavy Support
Battlewagon - Reinforced Ram, 2 x Rokkit Launcha
Battlewagon - Reinforced Ram, 2 x Rokkit Launcha

Strategy:
I'm bringing the dakka! Warboss and painboy will accompany the bikers while big mek will be scouting with Deffkoptas and 20 boyz each using battlewagons as gun boats.

I'm planning on either engaging in the middle or being completing on the enemies side by turn 2. I should have plenty of rokkits to blow up at least 1 enemy vehicle or medium armor squad from the deftkoptas, tank bustas, and bikes. My plan is to engage the enemy first with bikers and 'Eavy boyz to take advantage of furious charge. Depending on what the enemy has, I may keep the deftkoptas and big mek closer to the squad to give that 5++ to the bikers or trukks, depending on layout and enemy.

Thoughts or considerations?

list looks pretty good.

There are a few things I would change but this is my personal preference. I find rokkits amongst boyz squads are really hit and miss, our BS is too low for reliable one shot weapons. I normally ususally only put big shootas into the squads the can glance rhino's and other AV 11 stuff and 3 shots as opposed to 1 better odds of hitting. you have more than enough ways to deal with armour from all other things.

the other thing I find is that 3 deffkopta's are not quite enough as you lose 1 the other two will pretty much runaway having such a low moral. I usually only take them in either a squad of 5 or solo hunters. that way you have to lose two before you start making moral checks.

you know your meta game better than us and your list looks solid enough these are only my suggestions.

I think its a flavor thing. I want the enemy to be terrified of all my rokkits that will be coming their way.

Statistically, I believe rokkits are better than big shootas, and honestly, I'd rather have a chance to get a penetrating hit (and roll on the pen table) than a better chance for a glancing hit.

I was going to take the big mek with the bosspole with the deffkoptas to help out with the moral and dampen the blow with the KFF. My original plan was to have the big mek and warboss accompany 5 deff koptas all with buzzsaws to be a flying killing squad, but I feel the deff koptas are better used at a distance and let the bikers be the engaging crew.

im reasonably sure, without having the codex at hand, that you cant have both Mega armour and a bike.
I've tried looking into it and I can't find anything that says you can't. Maybe someone else can find the rule? Otherwise, I believe that you can.

ork bike got a 3 after below: 3 Cannot be taken by a model with mega armour.
This. page 53 on orks wargear list at the bottom #3 cannot be taken by a model in mega armour. Ork bike has a #3 next to it.

Other than that I also like to put a big shoota in the boys squads. Other than that I would definitely give the tank bustas a battlewagon in a tournament setting. A trukk just won't do for them once they fire off one round of rokkits.
