So I've been working on my nids and I destroyed one of my friends w a skyblight swarm list so now he doesnt want me to use dataslates.... Plus in that previous list i had an issue with literally everything except the MCs dying. So in this list I wanted to keep the theme skyblight gives the list but also keep it survivable. This is what I've thought of

Flyrant, devs 230

Hive Crone 155

30x Poisoned gargoyles 240
1x2 venomthropes 90

4x Warriors, barbed strangler 130

20 hormagaunts 100
20 hormagaunts 100
20 hormagaunts 100
Total: 1750

I kind of like the set up, the warriors move up w the venomthropes and hormagaunts which will get 3+ and 5+ cover (the reason i kept dying was because i had no cover saves on the majority of shots). The only thing i'd consider changing is dropping 30 points to give the remaining 6 warriors the s5 guns. Thoughts?

Slight edit, I figured I should have the warriors be CC oriented to go where the hormagaunts go.

List looks pretty good with 4 FMC, decent synapse coverage, and cover saves. My only thing is if you every come across AV14, you are pretty hooped, and would have to rely on 'smash' attacks to take them out, and that takes your FMC away from what they should be doing.
