Hey guys, this list is for a local tourney coming up.

HQ - 305 pts.

My plan is a spearhead straight into my enemy, Kharn will join the terminators in the LR.

PERFECT 1st HQ choice. Can't go wrong here

Perfect 2nd HQ choice, it's what I use too.

Troop choices are solid enough. I rock 3 Zerk squads in my 1750. Rhinos are a MUST to get them there.

ELITES - 475 pts.

Here's where we differ. Firstly, Chaos Termies are not fearless. Granted they have a 2+ armor save, but Chaos Close Combat terminators no capacity for invul saves [ like those pathetic Imperial terminator cowards have ] makes it dicey to me. Secondly, 475 Points is alot to wager against Lascannon/Melta weaponry/Plasma weaponry to me. Lastly, I don't see a need for the dedicated Landraider. Remember Kharn has a personal icon, so you can deep strike the terminators right down next to him, for added punch or deep strike them elswhere if need be. You have a potential to free up 245 points here if you dumped the Landraider, attached Kharn to a Berzerker unit instead, and move them across the board in a Rhino instead. That's enough for a 4th unit of Berzerkers tooled out like the others [ for an additional scoring unit, which my list lacks ]and a rhino - the dozer blade, or another defiler, or 2 more Obliterators, and you'd still have some points to spare

See the red text for my thoughts, and suggestions. Many of my suggestions are contingent upon the meta-game for your local area too. I run havoc launcher/plasma pistol heavy for the over abundance of Deathwing lists in my area.

I like it. My suggestions however are first off and foremost to pack Kharn's squad in the Land Raider and let the termies DS off of the personal icon, or if you make room, the pers-icons in the other zerk squads. With that in place, a squad of killy termies can be anywhere it need to very quickly - objective being overrun, drop the termies there. Need a second wave counter assault - drop the termies near that.

Now, make sure you give that Land Raider extra armour so you don't get stuck somewhere over a glancing hit result, you need to drive this list into the enemy.

Now, while I love the defilers for fluffy reasons in this list, you need some anti-tank and you need it to have wounds, cover, an invul, a 2+ armour save and the ability to DS if need be ... yes I am talking about oblits. 2 squads of two are very good in this list and will crack open vehicle for your zerks to slaughter the fleshy insides.

Now get rid of that random 1 oblit you have now, so you have 75 free points, then find some room somewhere for 25 more points and invest in a greater daemon. Here is why ... you thought Kharn, a DP and 3 units of zerks backed by LC termies was hard, add another MC with a 4+ invul that can assault the turn it comes in and can come in anywhere at the sacrifice of a champ. Yes, I know a powerfist champ is expensive, but what you get in return in terms of power, threat and flexibility will be a boon on the battlefield and will turn the tide for you against troop heavy armies and other assault specialist armies every time. It is the straw that breaks their backs. I use the SC, GD, DP mix every time and it works.

I hope you plan on putting Kharn with a squad or else he is toast pretty quick. On the rhinos drop the dozer blades and add extra armor. In this case only I would drop the obliterator and either add more berzerkers or plasma pistols to the berzerker squads (personal preference). My other personal opinion would be to team a khorne army with a daemon prince with mark of slaanesh and lash of submission to pull enemies closer to your squads for even quicker destruction.
