Here is the list I'm using currently

B. Mek w/ SaG, BP, Ammo Runt
B. Mek w/ SaG, BP, Ammo Runt

14 Loota's
10 Loota's -3 mek w/ B. shoota's
10 Loota's -3 mek w/ B. shoota's

30 Boyz - 3 B. Shoota's, Nob with PK, BP
30 Boyz - 3 B. Shoota's, Nob with PK, BP

Looted Wagon - BoomGun, B. Shoota
Looted Wagon - BoomGun, B. Shoota
Big Gunz- 3 Kannonz, runtherd, 3 ammo runtz, 5 extra crew

1 SaG goes with the Big gunz, the other goes with a squad of 10 loota's
the boyz squads advance while firing

Personally i would be dropping a few things. The Meks in the Lootas units for one.

Personally i would try running your 3 units of Lootas in Battlewagons, backed up by a KFF.
Spend the other points on Boyz in Trukks or something as a counter-assault.
However, this would work better against CC specialists. IG will slaughter you.

This list will either do well or blow itself up with one bad round of shooting. The meks with the lootas is something I would get rid of. Having 3 models that can shoot if the unit moves is not going to do much, I would just add more lootas.

I am on the fence about looted wagons because they are very spotty on their performance as far as hitting anything and killing things. The don't press that rule can be a pain in the butt as well. Also all that extra crew for the kannons is not need. I would get a small grot screen for the big mek and the lootas so that any chargin unit has to go through the grots to get to the mek and lootas.

funny you mention IG, i played them 3 times so far

and when i go first done very well,

I'm using the mek w/ b. shoota's for 2 reasons

1- I bought 28 loota's, Im not in a rush to buy more anytime soon

2- If i need to move the loota's squad they still get 9 shots at 36"

Not enough troops. Drop a Loota unit and get more Boyz and make Lootas all Lootas. Oh, how you cracking tanks? You will have problems getting across the battlefield, Big Mek with KFF would be much better choice along with Killa Kanz giving better cover save and anti tank too.

this is just to make a shooty Ork list
not a competitive one

Last game both SaG double 1's, that hurt quite a bit(1 first turn, 1 second turn)

With AV 14, i do my usual thing and ignore it, and blast the crap out of everything else, other than AV14 the loota's/kannon's make short work of it

I dont have anymore loota's (i thought having 28 was quite a bit, i guess not)

The Looted Wagons(Eldar Falcons) do okay if you place them so they cant move into the open on a dont press that, (i know they cant shoot that round)

If i had more Loota's/Grotz I wouuld max out each of the loota's squads to 15 and just run the rest of points in grotz

Some other units to consider -

warbikes each pump out 3 Twin Linked str 5 shots a turn. Great for mass wounding things.

a battlewagon can take 4 big shootas and a lobba for some serious dakka as well - fill them with a unit of lootas and engage 2 targets.

It has to stay still to be able to fire with the embarked Lootas anyway.
15 Lootas in a Battlewagon with 4xBS can put out a considerable amount of dakka.

Either I'm going mad or the original post has been editted but there is no Battlewagons, only Looted Wagons and Looted Wagons lose transport abilities with boomguns so no Lootas in crappy transports.

What you said works but is a lot of points - 225 + 110 points
