hey

this is the first blood angels army list i have made. I usually play CSM or space wolves. I usually play against dark angels, tau, necrons, sisters and eldar. just trying to make a list thats good against each of these armies.

feed back is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Since this guy doesn't have a jump pack I assume he's going to join the Tactical Squad? If that's the case, you might want to pick up some gear to help the unit do its usual job better (shooting, mostly). Maybe grab a combi-melta and a lightning claw? There's no need for a power fist on an Independent Character since it wastes his delightfully high Initiative.

I strongly suggest you just give this guy a jump pack if you want him to move like jump infantry. There's no need to take Wings, it's really not a good power at all.

Drop the Death Masks, they're not cheap and rarely do anything.

This squad is on foot and is carrying a melta weapon? Good luck with getting to fire that with any degree of regularity.

Not bad other than the plasma pistol who would probably better be off with a combi-melta or combi-flamer since neither of these weapons will kill the firer. Also, there's literally zero point in having a teleport homer for this list considering you're not taking any Terminators.

Ugh, this unit is hideously expensive. Death Company should likely avoid jump packs due to their insanely high cost.

Both of these choices aren't going to help you much unfortunately. Baal Predators shouldn't use heavy flamer sponsons because being that close is basically asking for a meltagun in the face. I can't confess to thinking that the Land Speeder will be terribly effective either unless you give it a multi-melta on top of its heavy flamer.

The main problems with this list are sub-optimal equipment loadouts and a lack of focus. This list can't decide if it's a jump pack army or what. I'd suggest looking up some Blood Angel tactics on the net to start.

I second most of what Katie says. Definately jump pack the Libby and bring a Shield of Sang or another power. Also needs more Assault Marines .

Check out this blog post. It's for a 1,750 point jump pack heavy army list but the principals should remain largely the same. Here's another one for 2,000 points, but again it should give you some indication of what a JP heavy list should look like.

i took your advice guys and i have revised my blood angels army. Hopefully it works better as a jump pack army.
