I was debating of dropping the guardian w/ the scatter laser for a wraithlord.
The point of the this list is to beable to have decent mobility having the fd take out the tanks and the howling banshees take out those cc people. The Farseer dooms a group for everyone to fire at and fortunes the avatar ( he's usually the main target) or the wraithlord. Guardians move along with the avatar as gun support / meatshield when it comes to troops trying to assault.

If you dont take a wraithlord I would run the walkers individually. That stops the immobilized loss and allows you to blast more units if need be.

Its a walking list and I have not used a list like this yet. I see it as working. The 3 serpents going up the side, making sure the banshees are close enough to intercept an assault unit heading towards your main line. The line moving up laying down fire as the avatar gets into cc. rangers on home obj. Warwalkers on the flank opposite the ws but still close to the main body. I would make sure the Farseer is tucked away in one of the guardian squads.

If you drop one of the guardian squads I would look at increasing your banshees, DA's, and upgrading your rangers to pathfinders.

Remember that separating the War Walkers into 3 individual units will make them easy KP for the opponent in missions that it matters.

Buffing the Rangers and/or the Dire Avengers does sound like a good idea, though. All of your troops are too fragile with 3 of them being minimally sized and the only one that is just above the required size is mounted in a transport to be deployed near the enemy. Losing one Guardian squad to buff the rest of your troops may be what's called for.

If the Farseer is just Fortuning the Avatar then he can readily ride with the Dire Avengers or Banshees and Doom their target. That will keep him safe in a transport.

Hmmm the suckatar as it can be known as, the problem with this is it's slow and doesn't have fleet so don't expect to get into combat soon. Luckily the model isn't massive so you can hide it well. TBH I wouldn't take one really.

Fire dragons are ok, but consider you've only got one tank busting unit and only three transports - guess what's going to be shot at first?

I've used howling banshees for a bit in the past. They're not that brilliant as need 5+ to wound T4 and they'll get stuck out in the open and get gunned down next. I currently run striking scorpions which don't have power weapons but have more attacks and better armour, though TBH i'm thinking of dropping them for more fire dragons as they're not brilliant.

Dire avengers are always better than guardians. If you're going to use them either keep the avatar round them for a fearles bubble or just keep them in terrain.

Your problem here is hardly any ranged anti tank and limited serious anti tank.
