I'm ok with this. You have your big rock which is always going to be a risk, but you also have a solid army built that can hold its own should the rock get bogged down.

Though you have 4 Elites slots, that could be a problem :p You could drop the Drop Pod Dread and a powerfist to fit in 2 dakka Preds or swap the Riflemen out for autolas Preds.

The 2 things I see with the list and I know 6000 people will argue but the MM on Tac squads is a little hard. They are short ranged heavy weapons. Two things that do not work well together. I would go with atleast one ML so that the team can sit on home objectives and still do something.

The second part is TH/SS is great but they strike last. Yes they are master crafted but you cannot use master crafted if you are dead. I would put in 2 or 3 LC to allow you the ability to strike at int.

2+/3++ is plenty durable, and Vulkan's going at I5 anyway.

MMs are good for units that park in their bunker at midfield. Since this army is big on the short range, holding midfield will be important. A 24" dead zone in the middle of the board for vehicles is huge.

i would have to agree with chum on the MM, i dont personaly take them because i prefer the ML but having the MM to deter vehicles is realy nice, also i always take my termies with all SS/TH simply because, as chum said, they are plenty durable and i never see them die. They also hit like small buses, which is plenty good, and if vulcans S6 I5 doesnt put a big enough dent in a target before it hits, you proly shouldnt have charged in, TH blazing, into the target in the first place.

Aside from the Land Speeders, which i personly dont like for fluff reasons, this looks like a very solid list.

Sweet! So maybe change one Multi-Melta to a Missile Launcher for rear objectives? Thanks for the comments! Anything else that should change? I was thinking about dropping the powerfist and upgrading the drop Dreadnought to an Ironclad...what do you think? I like powerfists but armor 13 and 2 DCCWs is nice too.
