If you get first turn you win. Turbo boost to get first turn attack and demolish everything.

As far as i was aware, you cant assault after turbo-boosting.

Best case scenario is you get first turn and get your 3+ cover save. Then all the opponent has to do is get you to fail 4 of them (or only 2 if S8+) and the whole unit will likely run away. Missile Launchers will make this list cry.

Worst case scenario, you get second turn....

Of course the other option is outflanking, but that just means that the opponent can concentrate fire on your Boyz in turn 1/2, and the Deffkoptas in turn 2/3. All they need is a failed leadership test on Ld7 and they are gone.

Also remember that Buzzsaws are only S6/7, not S8/9.

I think he means if he wins the roll off, and goes first, he will use the 'copters scout ability to turbo boost 24" before turn one, possibly?

Although you will still struggle against Mech.
And if you dont get first turn then your better off keeping them in reserve and outflanking, meaning your Boyz will get shot to bits.
And remember that your striking last in combat, so you cant charge anyone that is even slightly able in combat.



Actually, i think you should give it a go. Im actually keen to see the results. :)
