The fluff behind my warsmith in short is that he is the lord of planet held by iron warriors scince before the heresey and he doesnt intend to lose it himself. I was thinking that when i expand my list i would like go for big guns rather than half and half close and ranged combat like you list. with the terminators, in games past killing the enemys general early on puts him in a bad mind set that might make him make bad decisions thats what the terminators are for. my warsmith sits back and helps defend my guns if they get into close combat(for now).

a defiler by itself draws to much fire to survive the haul up to the enemys line but by having 2 the opposing player is forced to split his fire, sure if im against tau or any other really good shooting armys they might still take both of them down but if they dont they will be defenseless against the killing machine that is a defiler.

how about this, i take out the land raider i have the termis+warsmith deepstrike in and buy some obliterators and maybe another vindicator if i have the points?
