How are you moving your sternguard? I would add a few combi weapons to them.

Where is Pedro going?

Your tac squads have MG and MM each?

The lone dread drop is going to get waxed. It is hard to keep an Ironclad alive but they do cause havoc.

Your Pre is going to get shot to pieces. I would go with a DAKKA pred, drop chronus and get a second pred

(melta and a plas c sorry) thought about the second pred, will do on that. pedro is going to drop his bombardment, after i combat squad my tacs, if i see any big groups. might drop dread and take vindicator, just for the template and ap.

Lots of folks will use sternguard as a drop pod unit to kill the enemy lynchpin vehicle. (Ie, that landraider full of termies or something) By giving them combi meltas, it better increases the chance they will break the enemy vehicle and won't be a waste of points.

Just as food for thought, the list I'm pasting below is meant to show you a few thougths around list building....

• 1 Space Marine Librarian @ 100 pts (Machine Curse; The Avenger)
• 2x 10 Marine Tac Squad in Razorback - 245 - Squad takes ML and Flamer - azorback with TL Las or Las/plas - (you'll combat squad them ML in cover on objective, other 5 out to take objectives
  
• 2 Rifleman Dreads - 125 each (2x TL autocannon
  
• 2 Preds - 120 each (Autocannon and TL las sponsons)
  
• 2 Landspeeder Typhoons (w/ ML and Multi Melta) - 100 Points each
  
• 9 Man assault squad w/o jump packs + flamer (217 points)... get free rhino upgrade (ie, a ride for your libby) With the extra points I gave the Sgt Twin Lightning claws for fun...

Total Roster Cost: 1497

I've got some close combat with the assault squad. I've got 4 troops to hold/take objectives. And I have some anti MC and anti-mech.

• I've got the ability to dish out some firepower covered
• I can hold/take objectives
• I have some psychic defense

Looking at your first list, I didn't get the feeling you had all your bases covered....

Why Pedro? Napolean Dynamite? Also, it might help to think how this would play out on the table... What would each piece do?

i thought that librarians can only choose 1 power @ 100 points? youd need to upgrade it with another 50 points to get two. unless i am completely wrong
