I decided to attempt a deathwing army because I realized I have a lot of terminators so I would love to use them all in one game.

HQ
Belial with lightening claws

Troops
Death wing terminator squad
assault cannon

death wing terminator squad
assault cannon

death wing terminator squad
heavy flamer
1 lightening claw pair
1 thunder hammer storm shield
1 chain fist
upgraded to apothecary

death wing terminator squad
cyclone missile

Elite
dreadnaught
vernerable

Heavy support
land raider or LRC (used to transport Belail and the squad with apothecary)

This is only with all the terminator models I have. I plan to buy an assault squad of Termies soon, and another land raider. Any suggestions are great!

jujumann,

I used to play with a Deathwing army during the 3rd edition era, so not too sure about the new rules re: Deathwing in 5th edition. However, your choice in arming your two squads w/ assault cannons is good, especially w/ their rending ability in 5th. However, I would equip your sergeants with a power-weapons instead. The whole squad with power-fists might run into trouble during an assault, especially if you're up against mobs of boyz or genestealers.

I'm not sure about the venerable dreadnought though, would prefer to have two regular Deathwing dreads that can accompany the 'regular' terminator squad, to add support.

Good luck!
