theres nothing better than the look on your opponents face when you take 40 casualties in 2 rounds of shooting and still hit home with 100 boyz. I play orks because they are awsome and fun, and whats more fun than sending 100 models running around the table. some may find this boring and cheesey, but ITS WHAT ORKS DO AND WHAT THEY DO BEST!

right heres my lists:
HG:
warboss
-big choppa
65pts

30 slugga boys
-nob
-power klaw
-boss pole

First of all, i would change the Warboss to a Big Mek with KFF.
Use him to give the Kanz a 4+ cover save, which they then obscure the Boyz to give them a 4+ too.

Get more Kanz. The more the better. Max them out at 9 with Rokkits if you can.

You really want all of your Nobz to have Power Klaws. They are a must have.
They will be striking last 95% of the time anyway, and being able to ignore saves and insta-kill T4 characters is well worth the cost.

You have gone for numbers at the expense of quality but you could swamp an enemy in many cases. The problem occurs when you face really tough enemies you can't hurt even with the numbers or you face an army with a number of large blast markers! Then you need some heavy weapons or at least plenty of rokkits, or some fast orkes in trucks. James

to king of cheese ( great name btw :p ), am not to keen on the meks, a like the good old fashion warboss! plus am a right in saying that you must be within 6" of the mek to get a 4+ which in my case will bundle my models up. the nobz with pks on shootas a feel are a waste for me, I have 90 sluggas getting stuck in and the idea was to have the shootas soften up the charge and support any counter attacks etc. I think theres nothing better thank a pk nob but the 60 pts that would have been spent went to a kan :D. To james, thanks my biggest worrie :p. but feilding 170 models with a fair few of pks etc I can surely get the boyz in after a few turns and kick ass!
is there anything that I could drop to get some more kanz?

Its not very often i say this.... but i would drop some Boyz.

I started my love of Orks by running 6 units of 30 in 1500 points, but quickly realized that i just didnt have enough units such as Lootas to support them, not to mention that moving that many models each turn will quite quickly bore both you and the opponent.
4-5 units of 30 is generally plenty.

Regarding the KFF, you only need to have ONE MODEL of the unit within 6" for the WHOLE unit to receive the cover save.
It is actually quite easy to have all of your units spread over your whole 6-feet of deployment zone and still have at least 1 model from each unit within 6" of the KFF, thus granting the cover save to your entire army.
