hi. ive been playing my eldar a lot recently going with my avatar- eldrad double and keeping most of my army on foot. it hasent really been turning out that well, the HQ have been surviving but deep strike and vehicals have just been avoiding them and picking of my more vulnerable troops units. so ive decided on a mech with only a few foot troops either stand back shooters or infiltrated. here goes.

farseer - guide 75
DA x9 - exarch - dual cats - bladestorm -152
WS - scatter lasers -105
DA x9 - exarch - dual cats - bladestorm -152
WS - scatter lasers - 105
FD x6 96
FD x5 80
SS x9 - exarch - shadowstike - (not sure about biting blade or dual swords both same points) 197
falcon - BL -halo fields 180
falcon - BL -halo fields 180
Dark reapers x 5 175
total points 1497

ok so the falcons each with a squad of FD hunt there tanks. Scorps hunt forward and try to mow through as many targets as i can. the DA's go forward in the WS bladestorm a target then either hop back in the WS or charge them if i can finish them of with the charge. (high initiative) or i just want to tar pit them. farseer stays back with the reapers and guids there shots into any juicy targets. i didn't rly want to focus much on the HQ for this list which is why hes only a basic farseer but it seems like the best thing for the points i had left at the end.
any advice you have either on the list or the breif tactics i have given i would be very grateful. thanks:victory:

he problem with putting fire dragons in a falcon is that a falcon is a ranged tank and fire dragons shine at 6 inches which as you can see is kind of conflicting, id rather put them in a cheap ws and maybe change the falcons to fire prisms.

Another option would be to drop down the da units to 5 man naked units, just to make their transports scoring and use the points saved on some other stuff like a serpent for the ss that way they can infiltrate, with a really annoying hard to kill tank and if you were to put sl on the tank they you'd get 4 s6 shots on back armor which could really do some damage, and then with that if you were to give the exarch biting blade he'd be getting 4 s8 hits on back armor because he infiltrated behind the enemy, and also upgrading the sls on the das serpents to bls to replace the ones lost from the falcons

one thing to be wary of is that people will shoot a lot at your dark reapers and deepstrike right next to them seeing as how they are bad in combat and they only have a guideseer with them so just be sure to watch out for them
