I was inspired by Jezlads thread to build a Sanguinor list because I haven't before so it seems like a good idea. I was trying to work out what to do with it and massed jump infantry just seemed like the best idea to go for.

HQ
The Sanguinor

Elite

Sanguinary Guard
- Chapter Banner
- Powerfist
- 3x Plasma Pistols

3 Sanguinary Priests
- 3 Jump Packs.

Troops

10 Assault Marines
- Powerfist
- 2 Meltagun

10 Assault Marines
- Powerfist
- 2 Meltagun

5 Assault Marines
- Powerfist
- Flamer

5 Assault Marines
- Powerfist
- Flamer

The idea is fairly straight forward, use my jump packs to move quickly, over loading one side of the board, following The Sanguinor into battle. There's a good potential to all reserve this list and try my luck with Descent of Angels. The small Assault squads are basically auxiliaries for the large ones. Bringing in flamers to help with hordes. The Sanguinary Guard are my Anti Heavy Infantry, spending most of their time cruising round with The Sanguinor. If they're near the The Sanguinor they each get 5 Attacks on the charge with their Master Crafted Power Weapons, throw in a priest and thats at I5, S5 as well.

actually pretty solid. some would argue long range anti-tank is an issue(anti-tank period, really), but if you move smartly you should be able to get into anti-tank range.

potentially a deadly list, but if your large RAS squad are vaporized you may well be screwed in the tank busting department.

pretty obvious, so i'm sure you may have considered it already.

Yeah no long range AT is a problem but then having it gives me a very static part of my army. That's why i'm considering playing it all reserves, so I can drop in a melta before badness happens. The SG can also bother tanks with their Plasma Pistols. With every squad having a Powerfist i'm hoping to be able to discombobluate mech lists a little at least.
