Don't commit your army to be set in waves before your 1st turn. You don't have to do it before that so you shouldn't as there are many things that can and will make you change your mind.HQ:
275 Bloodthirster, Unholy might, BOTBG (wave 2)
Very good for stomping on things. Living things, dying things undead things. Just stomp them good
105 Herald of khorn, Chariot, Unholy might, BOTBG (wave 1)
105 Herald of khorn, Chariot, Unholy might, BOTBG (wave 1)
Not a particularly competitive choice. The Herolds of Tzeentch on chariots are in most situations much better as they are faster, more cost efficient and, when given bolt, good vs. mech. Which daemons really can't get too few units of.
Elite:
240 X5 Bloodcrushers, Fury of khorn, Chaos icon, Instrument of chaos (wave 1)
Slow but tough. Excellent fire magnets.
105 X3 Flamers (wave 2)
Hard to use, but they are good if you don't waste them. Use them for suicide runs and keep them out of sight until they are ready to strike.
Troops:
130 X7 Plaugebearers, Chaos icon (wave 2)
130 X7 Plaugebearers, Chaos icon (wave 1)
Icons aren't really needed, but otherwise perfect for grabbing objectives.
90 X5 Horrors, Changling (wave 2)
Horrors are best used in larger numbers where their assault 3 "guns" is a threat to anything. If you don't want/need that drop them for something else or give them bolt.
Heavy support:
160 Soulgrinder, Phlegm (wave 1)
160 Soulgrinder, Phlegm (wave 2)
Excellent choices.

This is my first real try at a deamon list and i want it to be successfull, so any help regarding if i have picked bad choices or can swap anything around to make it better will be great, the bloodthirster is in there cause i have a nicely painted model for it already but i am not bothered about keeping it in the list if getting rid of it will make the army much better, also any comments on if i have made a good choice on what to bring in wave 1 and what to leave for wave 2 (if the gods look down with favor) will also be great
thankyou in advance for the help
Only general advice I can give on this matter is: Balanced waves are seldom very good. Your strategy are already reliant on a dice roll so going all in is often the best solution. But not always. The more you play the better grasp of the situation at hand you will get.
Any questions?
And good luck at the tourney!
