Hi guys, thought i'd put this list up for a bit of C&C. Basically, this is in preparation for a tournie next year, i will start buying the army next month. The tournie normally runs 2 x 1250 games followed by 2x 1750 game.

1750 lists must include your orignal 1250 list +500 points.

The army i wanted was something diverse and pretty, none of the cult troops will come from their legion, they will be apart of my renegade force. So berzerkers will not be World eaters, just my marines been nudges slightly over to Khornes grace... or lack of!

So enough blathering here is the list:

1250

Daemon Prince, Wings, MoT, Warp Time, Wind of Chaos

6x Noise Marines, Champion, Doom Siren, 5x Sonic Blasters, Blastmaster, Rhino

7x Plague Marines, Champion, Power Fist, 2x Meltaguns, Rhino

8x Berzerkers, Champion, Power Weapon, Rhino

8x Thousand sons, 1x Sorcerer, Bolt of Tzeench, Rhino

Total: 1248

+500

3x Obliterators

10x Rapters, Champion, Lightning Claws, MoK, Flamer

If I were you, I would swap out one of your Cult squads in the main list for the Obliterators. You never want to leave home without 'em. Just use the Cult squad in your 1750 pt. game.

This looks like a pretty solid list, but for your Noise Marines, you can't have 7 weapons for a 6 man squad, so you'll have to drop one. Also, whenever I run NM's, I always choose between a Blastmaster and a Champ; I never take both. But, that's just what I find effective. Otherwise good show!

Thanks for the advice, will try and swap the units around.

However on the note of Noise Marines: You can take multiple weapons - All noise marines come with: Bolt Pistol, Close Combat Weapon and Boltgun. You replace the boltgun with your Blastmaster / Sonic Blaster.

The Doom siren is an upgrade for the champion, does not replace any weapon. Hes got it more as a points filler but also to give a bit of edge on enemy units that get close.

In current rules - i can take as many shooty weapons within the replacement limitation. So lets say i could replace all bolt pistol, close combat weapon and bolter with different combi weapons - the rules limit me to firing 1 per turn on a normal infantry man.

switch the units like daxxglax said, and also switch another cult troop out for the raptors. My list would look like this:
