In my opinion there are too many lasbacks, they soak up way to many points in your 1k list (how about get rid of a laserback or two and just throw a lascannon on a marine and objective sit), also why all the flamers? Nids/orks would be scared, but a space marine player would laugh at them.
To save points you might want your Sternguard to just have their standard order bolters (they have special ammo to use their special ammo lol), combi-meltas are nice, but with your las-count they aren't needed in 1k point games. I personally love heavy flamers, but combi-flamers aren't worth that many points in my opinion (I don't like one time uses)
If your giving ur command squad PWs then you expect 3+ armor, which means they should probably have plasma-guns rather than your flamers (or even meltas for heavy infantry/vehicle combo) If you are worried about a big scary *insert monster here* eating them give em a melta bomb or two, or even just your libby as he can break off and charge a scary tank's A10 rear.
Having a ten man tac squad with just bolters is a big danger for weak horde armies, (that's 10 shots when they are out of rapid fire range, then they move forward, you move back (but still in rapid fire range) then get 20 more shots, then they charge and you get 20 over-watch shots) that's definition dakka right there.

These are all my opinions but I hope one or more of these ideas at least make sense and provide a different point of view for ya

Ok! Well. To start off, definitely take the meltas on the sternguard - you have enough flamers as is. Second, your lasbacks are a bit expensive for what they do; are you planning to rush your forces forward or sit back and shoot with these tanks? If the latter, take lascannons in your squads instead and use the points from the transports for something like a predator etc. Idk what's good for salamanders. If you're rushing, you're gonna want something shorter range like the lasplas or even just a naked rhino/razorback; you can probably use the points better if you really try. Third, you lack anti-flier - how much of an issue is that in your meta?

Finally, I hate that your lv2s are 10pts cheaper than our lv1s :ireful2:

Cheers mate!

Personally I would do something like this

Librarian, ML2
5 Sternguard, Pod
Ironclad, 2x Heavy Flamer, Pod
5 Tacticals, Plasma, CombiPlas, Rhino
5 Tacticals, Plasma, CombiPlas, Rhino
5 Assault Marines, Flamer, Pod
Stormtalon, Skyhammer
Thunderfire Cannon

Only thing it really lacks is cracking AV13-14, if that concerns you drop Libby back to ML1, give the sterns 2x Combi Melta and throw a 2nd flamer on the ASM or Melta Bombs on stern sergeant

Vulkan is a great inclusion in man Salamamder lists but needs a high amount of melta to really merit him being included. Or as JAMOB says a list built around him as he would be almost 20% of this roster.

It started off good but i am not so sure on all the tactical marines in razors. I prefer Ratvan's idea, apart from I would swap the plasma's for melta's
