im wondering whether to go full deathwing.
also the predators are there because i couldn't think what to get for 170 points. any help?

I myself have been known to play Deathwing/Ravenwing and believe me its tough to get the right balance. Whats nice is when it all works together it can be devastating. On the other side of the coin you end up paying so much for each model that a few bad rolls can end your day.

I'll start with belial. obvious choice and needed to run a terminator army. Question is how do you equip yours. I usually go for 2xLC.The extra attack and rerolls to wound with his already impressive stats work great. Thats how most people play Belial.

Now on to the troop choices. Your first squad of termys is all assault. remember our TH/SS termys don't work like reg marines do. We get a 4++ during combat while basic marines get 3++ all the time. For this reason i don't generally run hammernators. I dont suggest you run an assault squad at all. Full assault squads need to be riding a raider to get where they need to be. Fortunately one of the few advantages DA players get is our ability mix up our termy squads. I like to run most my squads like so- sarge-PW/SB, PF/AC, PF/SB, CF/SB, 2xLC. This squad lets you play wound allocation games and every little bit of protection helps. Its also equipped to deal with any number of situations. I suggest this layout or one similar for both termy squads. If you got some points dont be afraid to add the apothecary to the squad belial is going in. If your apoth saves one life he paid his points.

Now on to the Ravenwing biker squad. I love these guys but unless Sammael is there to make them troops I use them for sacrificial melta and teleport homers. Try 3 bikes with 2 melta guns and melta bombs on the sarge. Two of these squads are under 300 points. Adding the attack bike with a multimelta is an amazing option for 50 points too (he makes a great distraction). With the scout move and some turbo boosting these guys can be some real problems for enemy armor. Aside from toasting tanks they drop off terminator squads without error. Again scout move and boosting get your termys where you want them then proceed to tank hunt.

As far as your preds go i dont generally use much armor but i see there point. I prefer dredds but thats just a personal choice. With Belael, 2 squads of terminators with my layout and one 3 man melta bike squad w/assault bike your at 825 points. you got 175 points to play with. You can add armor or more bikes or even another stripped down termy squad if you can squeeze it in these points. This is all just my two cents. Do let me know what you end up doing and how it fares.
