OK, I have been painting my Army list up and you can see the results of that on the project log forum, any way I have kinda got distracted and ended up painting what I wanted to, and this is the fully painted 1000 pts list that I can field, PS. there are some of the units that I have not yet posted onto project log, Wait Out.

Wolf Guard BL Terminator Armour

Wolf Priestm, Plasma Pistol

5 GH MoTW
Plasma Gun

5 GH Melta Gun
MoTW

Land Raider Crusader Multi Melta

6 LF 5x ML

5 Scouts 2 Power weapons
Melta bombs
ML

Razorback Storm bolter
DW ML


1000 pts.

What ya think, I am currently painting up another 5 GH to give me some more troops so I can change things around a bit when they are done.

I like all of that except for

1. Giving the scouts a ML. If you're giving them power weapons and melta bombs I'm going to guess you're outflanking with them which means your going to be on the move a lot

2. Land Raider. at 1000 points a Land Raider is a fourth of your army base which means it'll hurt when it gets destroyed and it'll get destroyed fast

so I say drop both the ML and the Land Raider. Give a second RB to the second GH squad. Use extra points to give the Wolf Priest Saga of the Hunter then have him outflank with the scouts possibly?

Yeah fair one, However I recently played an Imperial Guard Army and he failed to destroy it in a 6 turn game, and it only lost its MM, that armour is just to good. The idea I have is to move 12 inches and pop smoke, next turn is to move the 12 and assult out of it another 8 inches, with a wolf priest giving preferred enemy and a MoTW, I defy anyone to stand in the way for to long. The scouts I generally dont ouflank because my opponant deployes a pesky astropath, and it just ruins scouts outflank ability, so with the missile launcher it gives them a good range armour destroyin ability giving my LF the chance to pick their prey.

then why give them power weapons? if they're meant for fire support I would drop the power weapons and melta bombs, and with those points give the squad that is assaulting a powerfist
