So this list is a fluffy and fun Eldar army. I am rocking Ulthwe style, lots of psykers and no aspect warriors (I know they can use aspect warriors, but not in my list). 1500 points is my favorite amount and I know I want to run storm guardians as apposed to defender guardians (because I love the models). I am running a Seer Council as my primary btw. Pros - lots of psychic dice (1d6+21), I feel like I've got adequate anti-tank (all my witchblades/singing spears, my fusion guns, my bright lances and vibrocannons), I also think I'll be able to do some awesome leadership shenanigans (horrify + terrify + psychic shriek + command + mind war + mindshock pod + pinning). Cons - no transports (as immobile as Eldar get [more mobile than most armies]), reliant on cover saves, weak vehicles.

I want comments and recommendations, but just remember that I am not looking for a tournament list, I am looking for a list that I think will look awesome, feel great and be fun as hell to play with/against.

as for the list, i would drop the warlocks with the guardians i think.
You have a lot of pshykers already.

thats nearly enough for a fire prism for some a little more durable anti-tank, and its usefull-ish for other things too.

or some bikes, if you want to jump on the band wagon. That wagon might have left the station mind you...

The avatar would work great with all those storm guardians - a 12" fearless/rage/furious charge bubble would make them surprisingly nasty. No idea where to get the points from though :scratchhead:

I could use an Avatar, lol! I've never tried him before but I think with the damned state of Ulthwe it would still be fluffy, also I believe the Avatar could have been a standard guardian that goes through the transformation, right? But I am worried about getting rid of the 3 warlocks because I really want to make sure I have 'conceal don't feel' active whenever I can.

And about the bikes... lol I acknowledge they are good, but I don't have the points to throw in a windrider host or a CAD. I absolutely love the formation based fluffiness of the new codexes, but I do wish we got to pick and choose storm/defender guardians and bikes.

Well the pick and choose are there in a standart CAD.

So its a chocie to make. There is already PLENTY of leeway in the formations.

As for the avatar, the traditional lore say its an exarch that becomes the young king, and go feed him self to khaine, and become the avatar.

but game wise he fits really well with the storm guardians, and the general desperate nature. as he is not something to be avakened lightly

If I were going to try taking the avatar in this list, it'd have to be either the hemlock or the rangers and about four warlocks from the council being dropped.
I think the hemlock would be more useful to the list as the Avatar could support the council. You also get to go to ground with guardians then give them fearless by moving the avatar into 12" range - fearless cancels the after effects of gtg so you can get straight back in.
So the guardians could have a 4+ re-rollable cover save in the open or a 2+ in cover (via conceal, gtg and fortune) then straight away charge with rage and furious charge.
But this would drastically alter your model count so it depends on how you want the army to play
