Default Welcome to Fantasy Houserules and Homebrews

Welcome to the Fantasy Houserules and Homebrews forum (Also known as H&H).

This is where you come to post the stats for your custom character whose background you posted over at Homebrew Fluff. It's also where you can post your common sense workaround to some particularly murky or unloved rule. If it isn't in the books (but you think it should be) it comes here. Got a fantastic houserule that makes life so much easier? Post it!

If the rules and stats are entirely your own invention feel free to post as much detail as you like. However, for any models, items or upgrades, etc, that are already published in an existing armybook or GW publication, do not list those stats or copy those rules, just say "See Armybook: X, pYY".

So for example, for a new variant troll for Orcs and Goblins you can post as much new content as you like, and go in to as much detail as you need to regarding your new costs, rules, stats, etc. However anything that is the same as the GW rules and stats should just be posted as "See AB:OnG p.32 and p. 56 Except as Follows: <insert changes> ".

Finally, please remember that no matter how outlandish the idea might seem to you, people have posted their hard work here to receive feedback and constructive criticism and to share it with our community. Please do not ruin this by being rude about someone's ideas, just tell them why you don't like it in a constructive manner. Keep it positive, productive and prolific and most importantly, remember to leave comments on anything you like, that is the only way to inspire posters to give you more!

To make life easier for creative Fantasy players, here is a table to use when creating stats for your characters. Please remember that rules in the above post still apply, you may only post your own creations, do not post stats or rules from a GW publication.

The table looks like this:

[table] Name | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld
Your character's name | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld
[/table]

To use this table just replace the relevant parts of the second row with your creation and it will display as above, giving you a rather handsome, easy to read stats table for your newest character. Here is the code, just copy and paste everything inside this code box and you are good to go.

HTML Code:
[table] Name | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld
Your character's name | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld
[/table]
