Hope you get some feedback - I love the Kromac mini, and want to start an army with him (have only ever played 3 or 4 games 2 years back) but have no idea where to start.

The list is a little old as the warmachine section here on heresy is a little bit slow, unfortunately.

As for Kromac, he's apparently a pretty great caster, and one who can really get in a mix it up a bit with the enemy. If you want to start the game, I'd suggest getting a Battlebox (or better yet, the Circle half of the 2 player battle box), to learn with, and grab Kromac early on.

I can't say much for circle, not being a circle player myself, but if you grabbed the Circle half of the 2pp battlebox, Kromac, some shifting stones and a blackclad wayfarer, you'd probably be off to a good start. That would give you a 25 pt force to practice with. Just remember that Circle is a tricky faction with a steep learning curve, so persevere and good luck

A buddy of mine at my FLGS plays that exact list and does VERY well.
