Default The Burning Skulls of the Blackspine Mountains

IN the depths of the Blackspine Mountains, just South of Doom Gate, the Pyromaniacal Dark Elves, named, 'The Burning Skulls' make their home.

Obsessed with fire, these crazed dark elves live inside Nar-Kourek, the Fortress of Flames a city carved deep into a cliff face. Unbenkownst to Elf, Man and dwarf alike, only the most intrepid of explorers discover the hidden city, and their fates were not nice. Any that discover the Dark Elves are tortured for weeks with hot brands and knives, and bathed in flame.

Only one explorer has ever escaped from the clutches of the Burning Skulls. An Empire explorer, Otto Haansbrecht, staggered from the depths of the city, his naked body blackened and flayed, hair on fire. After months of travel, he reached back to his home city of Talabheim, but was disregarded as a Flaggelant and a madman, after his wild and maniac claims of fire demons living in the mountains.

On the rare occasion that the Burning Skulls take to war, no one is left alive. all that is left of the field of battle is blackened earth and charred bones. The most usual of the weapons taken to battle is the repeater crossbow, the bolts of which are set alight before firing.

The most renowned of these Druchii, are the Sorceresses, pyromancers beyond compare, their skill and ability to harness the winds of Aqshy besting even that of the proud battle wizards of the bright college. Able to summon storms of flame, and fireballs with the click of a finger, they gleefully take to the fields of battle, having joy with blasting apart regiments with flame.

These Elves despise water, so never use the arms of the seafarnig corsairs in their fights, and stay landlocked at all times.

They march to war under the Icon of a Flaming Skull.
