Default The two sides of Malekith

Hi all,

I was reading about Malekith the Witch King, and I found myself wondering 'Was he stronger before or after he was ensconced in the Armour of Midnight?'

In the Time of Legends book he seems very powerful before he was suited up, but I don't know of any fluff of any battle or fight he has been in after that.

So:
Is Malekith stronger or weaker now than he was during Bel Shanaar's reign?

Many thanks,
Midnight

EDIT: Actually, I do remember a bit of post-Sundering Malekith fluff in the Darkblade books, but you still don't get much of an idea of his true strength (It's not like he's straining himself)

I say stronger after. malekith has actually technically died twice. the first time when he jumped into the eternal fire to prove he was to be king and failed, and the second time when he and his dark elves tried to take over Ulthuan. The first time he "died" his mother nursed him back to life by instilling her dark sorcery in him and giving him the armour of midnight. the second time when he "died" he was sucked into the realm of chaos. He appeared again near one of the dark elf cities of naggaroth. once again his mother nursed him back to health, but this time malekith had changed, instead of being quick to anger and fast acting, he is now a cold and calculating king, waiting for the best time to destroy the high elves. this i think makes him stronger. as well as the fact that he has received much of his mothers powers.

Ok, thanks.

Damn, he was badass before the Sundering, he must be nigh-unstoppable now!
