Default Gileads Blood - any good?

Hey guys.

My local library has this amoungst other titles and I'm just wondering if it is any good at all?

Its written by the king so I know that textually its going to be good but is the story decent?

Just finished it. Quite good really, its interesting to see a High Elf portrayed as a revenge filled being especially with the contrast at the end with the other elves. The one thing I was dissapointed with was Erils (sp?) end, just having him stay in the village seemed a bit of a cop out to me. I would really like to have seen him head out with the two elves seeing as he's a halfelf.

I'd love to see another book on them actually, even if its just writen by Abnetts wife.
