Default Daemon question

Hello first time poster here and so on...

a Demon of chaos is so to say "Part" of their respective god, but I thought if it were possible for a god to, "Exile" demons. having their connection severed the demon won't probaly last very long, but I merely thought if it actually was doable?

And sorry for any typos and so on... im writing this moments before I go to sleep so...

Im assuming Daemons in WFB are basically the same as in 40k so here goes!

A Chaos God creates a daemon by extracting a part of his essence and shapes it into a being, which shares the same characteristics as its god, minor daemons barely have individual thought and consciousness, where as greater daemons do have a seperate existence.

The Daemons codex also says that at any time a Chaos God may choose to revert this essence essentially re-absorbing the daemon back into itself.

Daemons can be exiled (Skarbrand for example), why the god would not simply destory/re-absorb the daemon is unknown - maybe because the daemon although exiled would still serve his god indirectly; an exiled Bloodthirster would still slaughter for example furthering Khornes influence. an exiled Lord of Change would still plot and meddle furthering the influence of Tzeentch etc..

Another reasoning could be out of spite. If you annoy a Chaos God i dont think there going to make things easy and just kill you. Look at The Masque, forced to dance for eternity, he/she/it probably isnt having the time of his/her/its life right now.

Thanks Proccor for the awsum sig

After 10 years of relentless shelling, the hive is reduced to naught but rubble and dust, two years after all signs of life ceased and five years after the hive issued its unconditional surrender.

I dont want to hear any more flashlight joke alright, there just guide lights for the artilery

also, deamons are alowed "free will" up to the point of outright rebelion, although a blood thirster working for tzeetch is still collecting skulls for the skull throne.

humm, true. This is yet again proof the Orks are smarter the Elves.-Micklez
