Good post, can't believe you missed "Vebla" though.
Vebla = The most sickly newborn lamb of the group. (from Riders of the Dead)
and
Rota = Standard military group of Kislev lancers

... Crossings guarded by several Stanistas...
Is this a Kislevite word? And if so, what does it mean?

:in the dark cyclops:

"Well it's Forty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-nine OK -
Gotta war across the Milky Way - "
Iggius Popiscus and the Stoogii, "41,969"

Bugger, you beat me to it, Deathshroud - I've just started flicking through the Riders of the Dead, it's right here in front of me, along with "The Ambassador", "Ursuns Teeth", "Beastslayer", "Daemonslayer", "Dragonslayer", and "Vampire Slayer"... All just waiting to find some words in ;)

I'll add those in when I finish editing the post, cheers Deathshroud ;)

Oh, and I knew I had one more word to put in Red ;) Stanista is the term given to an Isolated Town, Hamlet, Fort or Village. Due to their nature, most are walled. Each Stanista must provide and maintain the equipment, manpower, and food (for when they return) for a Winged Lancer 'Wing', or Rota. Rota is, as Death Shroud says, a single unit, but it's not unique to the Winged Lancers - there is mention of new members of a Kossar unit in Vampire Slayer swearing allegiance to a Rota. ;) And although the Gryphon Legion are the Greatest Regiment of the Winged Lancers, they still have a Rota ;)

Something to add under places:

Bolgasgrad - Settlement located on the Urskoy River somewhere between Erengrad and Praag.
Belyevorta Pass - A pass through the World's Edge Mountains. A lucrative gold mine (sacked by a Chaos Warband some time before the Storm of Chaos) and an abandoned Dwarf Temple (now overrun by Goblins) were located near to it.

Both of these come from the Konrad Saga.

Updated - Dinadan and Death Shroud, both of those have been added, and you have been credited. ;)

A few more additions.

Bear in mind, there will be articles explaining the major ones, but if anything is not too clear, just pipe up ;D

Thanks xenra, hope you can get some use out of it ;)

Anyway, big update now done. Still about 60 pages from the end of Dan Abnetts Riders of the Dead, and have to put in all the names I've found, but I'll make a start soon on The Ambassador ;)

I have just found the greatest resource ever - the WHFRP 2nd Ed Realm of the Ice Queen Book.

I got sent it by a friend, who heard I liked warhammer, and was attempting to get some stuff together for Kislev, and found this. If any of you have it, or can find some previews, It's one of the best fluff resources to ever grace my eyes! I'm going to see if he has any more for the others - they should all come in handy!
