Default Avatars of War preview Vermin Clan Lord

Saw this over on TGN today and I am thoroughly impressed with this sculpt. A good one for you skaven players out there.

No word on release date, but I will be getting one when they show up.

I'm normally not a skaven fan, but that is pretty damn awesome.

Good find, this is a really good sculpt it seems, I especially like the look of the feet, I always find the detail on the skaven feet from GW kind of lacking...

excellent looking model, to be honest his stuff is totally indistinguishable from the GW range for the most part, which i like alot (then again he worked for them so he knows what hes doing). So many other indies make nice models (and not so nice) but they often have something that makes them look out of place when put with GW models.

I've only looked at Avatars of War in the last few days and I'm completely amazed at the quality (in some respects they appear to surpass the GW equivalents - though that may be the paint job).

I love pretty much everything AoW sculpts, and this is no exception.

Hell, I hate Skaven, and that looks bloody amazing.

And what shoulder, & what art. Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat, What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain? In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp, Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears, And watered heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see? Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

It's like Felix reads my mind sometimes. Like he knows I have like four Island of Blood's worth of Skaven plus an abomination and a warp lightning cannon that're sitting in a box because they were for a store project that was scrapped, and have been considering building them into an actual 2000 point army... and one of the things that had been stopping me was not having a Felix Paniagua sculpt to lead them...
