Default Rumours about gaming systems and release dates

Right guys you need to keep yourselves at the ready for dates the 7th and 14th of November

I'll expand slightly on the thinking behind why the pricing is likely to be in the realms of what i keep on hearing. The current think is that GW is looking at three gaming systems AOS being the first stage entry level gaming quick to pick up and play and complete with free rules. 40K more complex game to play and greater cost due to codices add ons etc.. Horus Hersey being the top end of the gaming spectrum and aimed at veterans/experienced gamers supposedly complete with even more complex rules.

I just wanted to say that indeed something big will come on these dates.
They are "red" for Store Managers, meaning Managers are asked to have
the store open and not be on holiday.
These red dates are reserved for very big releases like Age of Sigmar or
whole new armys so Horus Heresy is very likley to happen.

Some good news for us, if true. I could not stand an AoS treatment for Wh40k.

Swear this was posted a while ago since I've seen it before. But anyway I dont like this '3 tier complexity' gaming, plus the idea of HH being the more complex one annoys me since I find 30k much more simplier and straightforward than 40k by a huge margin, hence why im playing it and enjoying it more.

Plus that seems like a huge change, Horus Heresy is only on the 'top end of the gaming spectrum' because of FW prices, which if you go into whole hog and just pick a single legion/force isnt as expensive as some people are led to believe. As far as the game goes, short of them creating a different system to FW I dont see how the game could be more complex than 40k is. Which to me -assuming this is true- is just proof GW HH is going to be a purely standalone box game, nothing to do with them melding the FW game with GW etc.

I like the idea, but ts a shame there isn't more expansion of the fantasy old world (though I was never really holding my breath anyway). I don't really understand how they can make HH more complex given that pretty much everyone is space marines, unless they are going to bring in heresy era xenos too (which I have to admit I would be interested to see). I think GW could have very easily created this same structure with Fantasy AoS and 40k, as Fantasy was easily the most complex system that no one I knew jumped straight into. Though even threw all the cynicism I'm curious to see what this holds, albeit disappointed The Hobbit may be disappearing too, as *some* of the models are gorgeous.

Me: To be honest im amazed there isn't a chaos god of not revising or at least chaos god of procrastination

MidnightSun: There will be, when enough people do it. Y'know when the Eldar were all engaging in their hedonism and Slaanesh ripped open the Eye of Terror with his creation? Slaanesh will have NOTHING on the God of Procrastination, and his vile minions will carve the galaxy asunder in a thousand year reign of blood.... Tomorrow
