Got that in an email today...


Also it looks like they are talking note, we dont want to pay 9 for a small metal model, looks like they're making a lot of metal sets plastic...

(this is probably already been mentioned sorry!)

from spetember the 29th

army books an codex's up 3 to 15 (generally)
paint pots up 25p (to 2.25)
White Dwarf up 50p (to 4.50)
Glue up 1 (to 4)
Spray up 2 (to 8)
Small Figure Cases up 5 (to 35)
Large Cases up 10 (to 60)

both paint sets and metal/hybrid boxes/blisters up 1 price band (see below)

4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 10 - 12 - 15 - 18 - 20 - 25 - 30 - 35 - 40

Ouch, 60 for a large figure case. I expect that'll be a range they'd have to replace soon. The codicies seem a little much aswell, but paints are faily reasonable since they can last you awhile anyway. But they have to be careful their competitors don't lower paint prices.

I can deal with all the other stuff, but paint? That sucks big time. Really the only GW hobby product I use...

I always thought it was only metal. As well the prices of glues, sprays and paints are going up. Now to be some old guy, I remember back in the day when plastic sets were 15 and paints were 1.50. Ahh those were the days...
