Default Warhammer world refurbishments

I have got this information from some communications I have had with Nick at Warhammer world.

Quote:
Hey Paul, well - Warhammer World is about to undergo some redevelopment work, which includes adding in some very exciting new features, including.... oooh, hang on, I can't say... the boss is watching!

What I can say is that because of this redevelopment, we will have a seriously reduced gaming facility from mid-August onwards as the hall undergoes a few changes. As such, we have no more events at all planned from after August 15th, including any Throne of Skulls. I do apologise - we love running them too, but with the hall being worked on, we just can't run them

Sorry I can't be more specific!
Not sure when we will be getting ToS events back as he doesn't specify a timescale (I was asking about a November Throne of Skulls). There is limited information about timescales here http://warhammerworld.games-workshop...elopment-work/

I will keep this thread upto date when I get any further information.

Wasn't there some building plans from Nottingham Council released that had something to do with this?

Good point from both of your. Here is the Nottingham Council planning link.

It looks like a new entrance, plus they are putting in a mezanine floor by the looks of the application. It looks like a massive layout change with a forgeworld and black library store (which I recall being mentioned before). It looks like you will need to walk through the store to get to the games hall. And there will be a lot more exhibition room than there is now.

I bet that's the real reason they made me redundant, to help pay for this.
