Here are some shots of an Assault Trooper, warts and all. I did not spend much time cleaning up the print because it was not going to be used as a master, just to test fit components such as the shoulders, tasset and tabard; so there are some very rough spots on the outside of the shoulders, the sword blade edge and a few other places where the built lattice was attached.

The Heavy troopers are scaled to be a good match with the Stormtroopers. About 1mm taller than the Stormtroopers (some shrink can be seen in the print), and a bit more bulk overall. Keep in mind when comparing to other mini lines, the Stormtroopers will be on the tall side, so although these may look a little small, they are large enough to look like steal the milk money from many of the other popular mini companies lines and small enough to look like Eisenkern Stormtrooper sized person could actually fit into the suit.

WGF China informed me that they are making progress with the Heavy Troopers so it seemed appropriate to post this. Enjoy!

Anyone else think that they would make great Sisters of Battle(The model just seems...feminine to me)?

I didn't see it until you said it, but yeah, I could see those as SoB. I actually really like the look of them. Think I may collect a few.

The new one looks like the bastard son of a grey knight and Issac Clarks rig.

note: if you see me giving tactical advice: just assume i have a internet tab open to 1d4 chan and I'm summarizing off of that.

Looks fairly sob design wise, just needs slightly more feminising to really fit

They actually remind me of the empire troopers in one of the final fantasy games, (FF12??, been so many!)

I like the design of the model, but the pose is off. No one stands with their feet that way, and their legs spread that far apart. It's actually uncomfortable and not stable, unless he's using his sword as a third leg. Tuck those legs a little closer together, maybe angle the feet a little less severely, and you've got gold.

The helmet makes me think of the Aliens from Above and Beyond (TV series from the 90's). I like them although, although they look too bulky to be sisters.

I thought Necromongers as soon as I saw them for some reason.
