i loved playing the old turn based strategy games that GW used to put out, final liberation and chaos gate were bothe awesome games, cutscenes aside. If i thought for a minute that my pc could handle this i would be all over it.

Yeah I don't see iOS as a problem. If this is turn based it's control capabilities can handle it and at the very least you can get Unreal3 fidelity on the newer devices. Will have to see it though to come to any real opinion.

Personally its nice to see the consoles taking a back seat for once rather than having poor ports from them to the pc format. As for the game it sounds like an updated version of Final Liberation (I still have a copy somewhere ). I will be quite interested to see what it is like as I too play War Commander and enjoy it immensely.

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw this, though hopefully gameplay will not make using the titans as much of a necessity as that game did (or at least thats how I remember playing, mowing down area after area with half a dozen reavers and warlords with some supporting artillery.)

Now if they do something along the lines of chaos gate I'll be in semi-heaven. (I still have a working copy of that one, even if it only barely does.)

Sounds alright. Complex plot doesn't sound interesting, or likely though. C'mon, it's Games Workshop, guys, who are you kidding?

Will likely pick up while I'm waiting for Rome 2. Bit disappointed it's not on Android however; GW seem to have a real problem with Android; not releasing their Digital Books on it for one. I would've enjoyed settling back with it on the train.

They are the largest OS, after all

The idea sounds very interesting. But we'll wait and see how it developes. Until then, I'll stick to War Commander and replaying my old RTSs.
