Default New Paint Collections up on GW site

Link

New sets of paints have gone up on the GW site, I don't think there is anything new in there or if there are any savings to be made, I just think they may be a way of squeezing a few more £/$ out of the bank of mum and dad.

I'm not sure anyone needs £90 worth of paint for Ultramarines, I did some a while ago for commission with around 5 or 6 paints.

Yup.. just another way of ripping a few extra bucks from the gullible.

I could easily immediately cut half of the paints they're recommending, and not loose anything on the finished effect.

Fucking hell *coughs tea all over screen*

What!? You "need" every shade of red to paint Ultramarines!? They don't even have red bolters anymore! Its a purity seal!

I...

Exactly my point... and 5 different paints, just to paint gold? Or Steel? Or Even white? I'm no world class painter, but even I can match the details they've shown with paint with half that.

Sorry mate you ninja'd me.

I find it laughable that they sell a "base" white and haven't included it.

So if its not there to help base white... what's it there for? Or is it just that its better for you if people use 3 colors instead of one?

Yup, and again with the "here's a deal that saves you zero cash"... I do wonder if there are people who fall for this sort of stuff...

I had an AMAZING time at fightclub.

I arrived a bit late, so I missed the introductions, but man... I had an awesome time at fightclub! 10/10 I would recommend fight club to anybody!

Its isnt a "deal" ffs , just because someone groups stuff together does not mean you auto matically get a discount, its just a one easy click order bundle ,not for everyone but some suckers love this stuff.

Agreed. Its more of a scam or a rip off.

I am a bit hard pressed to find a use for half of those colors... Since when did the Ultramarines wear that amount of red?

Took him about 5 seconds to come to the same conclusion as the above posts.

Kids are pretty savvy these days , so im assuming this is aimed at the more money then
sense brigade .
