Default English Tau Leaks

Not sure if these were already posted but I did not see anything in the main thread. I grabbed these off my local gaming clubs page http://40kegger.blogspot.ca/

I like cake and pie. And posting things that might get Heresy in trouble. Oops.

Cheers,
Chaosftw

Oh my god RAGE. They made Vespid more expensive??? The Neutron Blaster better be effin' epic.

Edit:
There's a review of the codex here: http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2013/...ad-review.html

I simmered down a bit once I read that Tau will be the Cron Air killer (everything can have skyfire...)

I've had recurring nightmares
That I was loved for who I am
And missed the opportunity
To become a better man

And gave them +6" weapon range and stealth in ruins. And a better save. And move through cover. And I6. . . . Yeah, ok, that seems a little pointless, but hey, its not all bad . . .

Maybe. . .

"But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED."

"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.

Move Through Cover means they auto-pass Dangerous Terrain tests, which means they can jump into and out of terrain without being forced to test.

I hadn't actually considered that - but still, they had that before, almost, with the skilled flyer rule.

I have to say though, that they may not be "fixed", but I'm not going to judge them as harshly as before until I've at least tried them. They do appear to have more uses than before now.

I6 is to ensure that they pass their hit and run tests.

I6 also means they stand a chance of taking out some of the unit assaulting them. If Tau are the anti-air force, I'm glad I haven't gone hog wild for Flyers like so many. I have some but I have always preferred a diversified army over something super specialized.

Yup, I totally get that, but maybe Hit and Run is not where these guys should excel - seems to me they'd be a little more useful as advanced sniping or area denial.

Can they still benefit from ML hits? If so, that would be my preferred choice.
