Default tyranids on the horizon?

From GW:

This boxed set contains one Tyranid Hive Tyrant - a finely detailed resin cast kit that comes in 30 components (including a 16-part plastic weapons sprue), and is supplied with a 60mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints.

Due to high demand, each Citadel Finecast product is limited to five (5) per customer.

Availability: No Longer Available
Part Code: 99810106007

Plastic model coming soon me thinks?

I have looked on the UK, AUS, Canadian, Belgum, Irl, New Zeland, and USA sites

and only Canadian and the USA doesn't have it in stock, I bet supply issues had it happened before with the elder aspect warriors.

wouldn't that be "out of stock."

That would imply that they will be back.

No longer available seems like it should be gone for good. then again GW isn't known for wording things well i guess.

Harry suggested here on Warseer that the Tyranids would get a release before both the Black Templars and the Tau did. If it's true that would lead me to believe they are getting a wave release in February. Sounds about right that we'd get a 40k wave release during this month. I'm not expecting a full codex release until April.

They are still unavailble on the US/Cadaian sites.

It is a stock issue, the automated system doesnt have an out of stock, it just says No Longer Available.

I very much doubt, that GW would have a phased removal of the model, I expect it would not even go away when a plastic comes out, they would keep the fine-cast and plastic in stock for the same time...
