I'm not going to lie, they're overhyped and I despise the legions of fanboys associated with the series... but, Halo: Reach is obviously the best.

I have played them all, i wait until they are in the Bargain bin for good reason. I am not a Halo hater, just someone who is unimpressed with them, they arent anything amazing as said legion of fanboys think they are. They just make the time go faster for me while the Girlfriend is away at Uni.

Halo CE was probably the first really fleshed out next gen shooter and since I've been playing the series since I was six I can be considered a fanboi but I do admit half the halo games are bad.

Halo: ODST is a fav of mine for when the mates come round. Multi-player co-op makes the game much more of a challenge, plus allows for play on legendary for us wimpy gamers out there
Just rented Halo: Reach yesterday, and I must say I am impressed with it Brilliant gameplay, great graphics, awesome new weapons and vehicles. Tons of fun

I voted 4 halo 2, mostly because it elevated shooters in the video game industry but mostly i remember having a lot of fun with friends whilst playing the game
