Just finished it this morning after a marathon session of gaming. I really enjoyed it, the settings, the mood, the environments, I was totally lost in the era.
That being said, the devs need to remember, as devs need to be reminded on occasion, that while we want a world simulator, we do not want a MUNDANE world sim.
So out of 16 Hours, I spent maybe 10 hrs driving from place to place, 2 hrs in cutscenes, and 4 in gameplay. At least it felt that way.
Sometime I would leave a cutsecene, to drive and go into another cutscene, to drive back home and end the mission. lol.
I play for story not for gameplay though (been gaming for 28 yrs) so I have played EVERY concievable type of game. So in that regard, it was a stunning success.
Well acted, great writing, although the Hero's journey had a weird twist that I never really believed.
All in all, a great experience.
