Default DOW2 - Invincible Lictor?

On one of the DOW2 missions you are asked to take down a Lictor. Basically the Lictor just regenerated health faster than I could possibly take it down. Am I missing something?

You have to knock it down to 1/2 health, it will disappear into the brush, then you have to destroy the brush around the Lictor, then you can take it down. I lost 2 squads taking it down but it is possible.
Hint: use turrets and flamers.

As marx said, you have to take down the bushes it hides in; I used assault terminators and my commander to tank & kill it, with devs + tacticals providing covering fire.
