sorry how msny points is it supposed to be? 1000pts im guessing

very small point, is that vampire lord is only available at 2000pts plus, although im pretty certain your 2 vampires are just regular hero slot vamps anyhow.

looks fine as a 1000pt list. both nvamps protected, potential very powerful unit of wraiths running about, and necro to back up.

the only slight difference i would possibly make is to swich for some ghouls, as i like the extra poison attacks

yeah there ought to be a comma or something between vampire and lord as he is meaning the Lord of the Dead vampire power that allows easier reanimation of his skellies/grow in size ability.

again, not much to add, other than if you go for gem of blood, use the other vamp as the general - last thing you want is to take a wound only for the enemy to kill him on his remaining wound then you'll pretty much lose there and then!

The alternative list I was designing had ghouls instead o skeletons, and a vamp with ghoul kin so I could run down those annoying gun line lists that more or less force a role off against how many they can kill and how many I can raise.

Speaking about which when I make it a 1500 list I think I will add two carts with bale fire, and switch out the necro for a magic support vamp guarded by a skeleton champs.

Oh and sorry for the title I made this post after getting out of the hospital for a kidney stone so I kinda rushed it.

generally speaking, ghouls are the favoured option over skeletons as they are better fighters, have poisoned, and a higher leadership value so when they lose combat, they tend to survive a bit better. however if there is a reason for you to prefer skellies, keep them

i would say that at the very least, in anything up to 2,000pts i'd choose one option of troops and stick with that. otherwise you are just diluting your magic by having to choose your vamp powers between two different raising roles.

the necromancer could be a cheap option to keep in if you want him/her/it, but a vamp would certainly give you the ability to hit as well as cast - not to mention keep the army moving faster.

as for the Corpse cart thats up to you. some may see the -2 as a bit overkill, but then you may need it depending upon your foe. there is certainly nothing wrong with taking two carts, but its down to you whether you take two balefires. i personally would ;)
