What sort of game do you play? Fun, competitive?

Do you expect to face a particular army most of the time, or are you looking for a more all-comers list?

Thanks for Answering!
I would like to play a Fun army but still be a little bit competitive.
I play at a club so an All-Comers list.

Thanks

Thematically it looks good.

Ghouls are better core infantry than skeletons, but that would obviously change the all-bone theme.

Are you intending to have one character per unit? If not I suggest removing the champions on units that will not have a character, as the benefit is not great unless you are trying to avoid a character challenge.

I suggest upgrading the Wight King to be a BSB. The Grave Guard unit can afford to be slightly smaller to free points if you are keeping all the champions.

I'm planing on having the Wight Kings & Vampire in the Grave Guard unit and the Necromancers in a Skeleton unit each, might put the Vampire in a Skeleton unit if that's a better idea. and the 2nd King is a BSB

Thanks

EDIT: Forgot to mention its not a Skelly Theme, So should I replace Skellys for Ghouls? 50/50? All Ghouls? Should I get any Zombies?

Thanks

Thanks

If you are not following a theme then all Ghouls is a good choice.

The advantage of Zombies is being able to keep making the unit bigger quickly, so they can do well if you want to tie something up for ages.

To an extent it depends on your playstyle: zombies probably give you more attrition whereas ghouls give you more damage per turn.

I'd go for a couple of units of 20 zombies with musician and standard and plug the rest of points with ghouls to give you a hammer and a couple of tarpits

One thing I think you're really missing out on in this list is the ubiquitous sacrificial unit. Dire wolves and spirit host bases especially come to mind here. They allow you to place utility units early while giving you more time to see where your opponent is placing his units. 2 units of 5 wolves and a pair of single spirit host bases are almost always in any VC list that I build. If I've got the points for them, 2 units of 2 fell bats are great as well. The bats and wolves are fast due to Fly and Vanguard, respectively, while the spirits can hold up units due to being Ethereal.

@Dave , How about a mix?
@Ratvan , Will 45 Zombies do?
@Karnal, I would love to take Dire Wolves (ZOMBIE WOLVES!) but Mantic doesn't sell anything I can use.

- Heavy Armour
- Sword of Bloodshed
- Enchanted Shield
- Talisman of Endurance
- Ironcurse Icon
- Red Fury
- Lore of the Vampires

Necromancer 90p (Runs with Zombies 1)
- Lore of the Vampires
- Dispel Scroll

Necromancer 65p (Runs with Zombies 2)
- Lore of the Vampires

Wight King (1) 130p (Runs with Grave Guard)
- Ogre Blade
- Charmed Shield

Wight King (2) 160p (Runs with Grave Guard)
- Battle Standard Bearer
- Banner of Barrows

20 Ghouls (1) 210
- Ghast

20 Ghouls (2) 210
- Ghast

45 Zombies (1) 135

You do not have any characters in the Ghouls, so I suggest replacing the Ghasts with more rank-and-file.

I agree with Karnal, that some cheap drops would help; is there anything in the Mantic range that could be painted in glowing white to be a spirit host?
