has anyone tried orange stuff mechanics use, when i was building bikes it got all the grease and brake fluid off my hands real fast

im unsure whther this has been said previously but, the nice smelling dettol (the ones that arnet brown) do NOT work. i have left it for a week and it has not touched the paint at all. GL everyone.

I have used the dettol method before. If it leaves a residue just grab an old toothbrush and have a scrub at it. Sometimes it leaves a stain like colour on minatures but it is easy to paint over it. In AUS they don't sell simple green so dettol works perfectly. It is pretty cheap.

i have had problems now with the smell of my models. i cant get rid of the disinfectant smell! any ideas?
