i love the civil war movie gettysburg (based on the novel killer angels). i really liked the lotr movies, along with pirates of the carribean and star wars (except for ep. 1 and possibly 2). other than that, the great escape, casablanca (best movie ever made), the princess bride (second best movie ever made), o brother where art thou?, the big lebowski, the meaning of life, the holy grail, the life of brian, young frankenstein, blazing saddles, pulp fiction, once upon a time in mexico, kill bill, dogma, gangs of new york...

i guess i've gone on long enough. that's a few of my personal favorites.

No one love Denzil Washington films?

A Man Apart
Deja Vu
Training Day

Also really enjoyed a film I watched last night called Harsh Time with Christian Bale.

I don't really go for the big budget films, a good plot, director and cast goes alot further imo.
