The only thing that's good about it is that wee Blondie bird with the Southern accent. Listening to her talk is like having viagra injected in your ear!

You mean a lot less entertaining? ;-)
Half the fun is waiting to either groan or hoot when Horatio opens his mouth...just like how every good episode of Law and Order had at least one deadpan wisecrack from Jerry Orbach's immortal Lenny Briscoe

It's cheesy in the best way possible! 'Cheese' is just as often good as it is bad.*
And as for the 'inaccuracies', real forensics happen to be extremely long-winded and not overly interesting to anyone not in love with science. I did part of a forensics course at college, and as great as it was, i ended up having to quit for various reasons.

Also, after watching NCIS a year or so ago, I realized how similar Abby and my girlfriend are! She's starting the course I was doing in a week or so.

*Case in point, ManOwaR!

I say it is cheesyer than a 1,000,000 year old cheddar. Horatio caine just breaks it with his terrible puns before the starting credits. some guy gets killed and theres an egg by him "well the yokes on him". CSI: crime scene investigation is the best one the one with Grissom I think his name is (the guy who collects roaches)

Oh, come on. The guy from CSI is just as bad with the ironic comments as Horatio is, he just doesn't have the kickass sunglasses or the ability to actually kick someone's ass. ;-)

In fact, the TV Tropes wiki Named that kind of one-liner after Gill Grissom

Its my fave of the CSI's for sure, Horatio has a side to him which I just love, plus he doesn't hide his emotions if something has ticked him off, usual when the victim is a child or a woman. You know hes going to kick some serious ass in those kinda cases. The fella from the original is a little too cold for my tastes.

I'm also into Law and Order, although my fave show at the moment is probably Cold Case, damn the inaccuracies, if the program can touch my emotions, its a good un.

Hortion is just your steriotypical Miami police officer, with the sunglasses, the squint nad the pointless one-liners.
CSI Crime Scene Investigation is the best, Followed closely by CSI New York (only because it has the bass beat from Baba O'Riley!)

Pffft.

I miss Homicide: Life on the Street.

And now I feel very, very, VERY old.

Thanks a heap.
